At fanzine, you as an independent cartoonist, have access to all the equipment and space possible to experiment with different ways of making cartoons. As an independent cartoonist you work outside the established norms of publishing. Fanzine is different from other collective workshops because it gives you further independence in the sense that you do not need to be a professional or have a formal education. Here you can learn and practise those things which you have not already mastered. Fanzine is run by Tusen Serier with the support of Arvfonden, in collaboration with CBK, Malmö Universitet, Serieskolan, Bryggeriets Gymnasium, Mötesplatsserier, Underlandet, Amalthea, Hybriden och Konstkupan. Fanzineverkstaden finns på Ahlmansgatan 11a i Malmö.
