The bicycle kitchen at STPLN

Service, repair, renovate or build bicycles

This is not a shop where you buy cycles or leave your cycle for repair, instead it’s a place where you work on your cycle yourself. There are lots of tools and people to ask for help, but the work is done by yourself. Everything is for free.

Cykelkök also organises a lot of courses and other events — all from simple courses in fixing a puncture to the more advanced ones like making a wheel.  The courses are structured according to the groups skill sets, experiences and ambitions. Those who have learnt how to repair a flat tyre can then spread this knowledge to someone else. Those who started as visitors or participants in a course can continue on as volunteers.

On Sundays between 12-16 it is open to anyone who wants to fix with their bicycle. Members (100kr/year) are also welcome on Wednesdays 17-21.
