Smarta Kartan

About the Smart Map

Smarta Kartan is a platform that makes it easier for Malmös residents to take part in the collaborative economy. Here we list the places in Malmö that offer products/services to loan, rent, borrow, hire, give and get. Here you will find tools, bicycle kitchens, exchange groups, open offices and much more.

All the content on Smarta Kartan comes from open meetings called map-jams with Malmö residents conducted at places like the Rosengårds Folkets Hus and Malmö Stadsbibliotek. Smarta Kartan Malmö is now run with the support of Malmö Fairtrade City, a platform for the City of Malmö to work towards more sustainable consumption patterns, for both the public and the private sector.

The content for Smarta Kartan has been gathered from Malmö residents through open meets called map-jams. Smarta Kartan Malmö’s editorial staff is responsible for the content and the web page is updated continuously. Many map jams have been planned for the future by the editorial staff in order to continue additions of all smart collaborative initiatives in Malmö.
